You handle the sign-up sheet, the quotas, the skins money, the side bets, and the results. GolfDogFight does all of that for you — tracked to the penny, in real time, on every screen. Here's exactly what your week looks like.
A "dogfight" is a quota points-game: each player has a target (their quota), and they earn points against it every hole. You run it from a web portal on any computer — no app to install for you as the organizer.
Create the round, let players sign up and score on their phones, then tap Finalize — the system does the math, posts the official results, and notifies everyone. No spreadsheets, no calculator, no email blast.
Five steps. The first time takes a few minutes to set up your group; after that, each round is mostly automatic.
Add your members to the group and pick how quotas are calculated — rolling average, best-N-of-M, or set manually. You can override any player's quota with a reason, and every change is logged so there's a clear record if anyone asks.
Members & Quotas tabPick the course, date, and format — individual, best-ball, or scramble. Turn on a skins game (gross or net, with a buy-in) and add side bets like birdies, greenies, and sandies. The moment you create it, every member gets a push inviting them to sign up. Need to change the skins setup later? It stays editable on the round.
Skins money · side bets · auto announcementMembers tap "I'm in" from the notification and choose whether they're in the skins game as they sign up. You see the roster and the pot fill in live, and can download a CSV for the pro shop. Got a walk-up with no account? Add them as a guest right at the first tee and sign them straight in.
Guest walk-ups · pro-shop CSVPlayers enter their own scores on the course, or a designated scorer enters for the group. Points and Plus/Minus update instantly on phones, your admin leaderboard, and the TV board. When a skin is won it fires a push to the players with money on it and a line in group chat, flashes on the TV ticker, and calls out records — "would tie the club record," "takes the season skins lead." It's built to hype, not spam: at most one skins line and one junk line per update, only to players with a stake. You don't touch anything.
Live alerts · TV ticker · records watchWhen the round's done, you tap Finalize. The server recomputes every point and quota, resolves the skins (including carryovers and net handicap strokes), settles the side bets, ranks the field, updates season standings and skins $ totals, and pushes the results to everyone. The round drops into your searchable history.

The portal is also your season hub — standings, communication, and records, all in one place.
A full-screen public scoreboard you cast to any TV. Set it once with your group link and it auto-switches to whatever round is live — leave it up all season.
Cumulative Plus/Minus, rounds played, and wins update automatically at each finalize — for players and teams.
Every member gets their own dashboard: average +/-, best/worst, win %, beat-quota %, and skins won.
Every finalized round is archived with the final leaderboard and hole-by-hole scorecards — settle any "what happened that day" instantly.
Buy-in, per-hole winners, and carryovers tracked live — payouts and season $ totals settled to the penny at finalize.
Play skins straight up or net, with handicaps and course stroke indexes applied hole by hole.
Birdies, eagles, greenies, sandies, and chip-ins ride alongside skins and pay out automatically.
Each skin won pushes to the players with money on it, drops a line in group chat, and flashes on the TV ticker — anti-spam by design.
Skins and $ net accumulate all season, with a 👑 Skins King crown on the standings and a $ Net column.
The most skins on one hole is tracked; beat it mid-round and the board announces a new club record.
Attach a local sponsor or pro-shop promo — logo, tagline, and an offer like "10% off a sleeve of Pro V1s." It rotates on the TV board and lands on players' post-round recap cards. Pick a headline sponsor per round; impressions and shares are counted.
After finalize, each player sees the fewest payments needed to square up — each with a pre-filled Venmo link. Players pay each other directly; GolfDogFight never touches the money.
Members can DM one-on-one, separate from the group chat. Threads are fully private to the two people in them — even admins can't read them.
The same math runs on the phone preview and the official server result, so the leaderboard and the payout always agree.
No. You run everything from the web portal in a browser on any computer. The phone apps are for your players — signing up, scoring, and checking standings. iPhone and Android are both supported.
Scores can be corrected before you finalize, and the leaderboard updates live. When you tap Finalize, the server recomputes everything from scratch — so the official result is always based on the verified math, not whatever briefly showed on a phone.
Yes. Choose rolling-average, best-N-of-M, or manual for the whole group, and override any individual player's quota when you need to. Overrides require a short reason and are logged to a history you can review.
Yes. Turn on a skins game with a buy-in — gross or net (net applies handicaps against the course stroke indexes). The app tracks per-hole winners and carryovers live, and settles per-skin payouts and season $ totals at finalize. Side bets like birdies, eagles, greenies, sandies, and chip-ins ride alongside and pay out automatically from every entrant.
No. The dollar figures are informational tracking within your private group so everyone knows who owes what — the app doesn't process payments or move money between players. To make settling easier, after a round each player sees the fewest payments needed to square up, each with a pre-filled Venmo link they tap themselves. Players pay each other directly; GolfDogFight never receives, holds, or moves the money.
No — it's built to hype, not spam. A skin only announces once a hole is fully settled (every entrant has posted), and each update sends at most one skins line and one junk line, only to the players who actually have money on it. The running banter — carry pressure, records watch, season-lead swings — lands in group chat and on the TV ticker, where everyone can enjoy it without a pile of notifications.
Yes — best-ball and scramble are built in. Team quotas are calculated automatically from the members' individual quotas, and there's a live team leaderboard and season team standings.
Yes. Add them as a guest right at the first tee — no email or account needed — and sign them straight into the round. They score and appear on the leaderboard like anyone else.
Yes. Players use a single account across every group they play in and switch clubs in a tap. As an admin, you add members by email — if they already have an account it attaches to your group; if not, one is created and they're invited.
A flat $20 per member per year, billed once a year per active member. That covers unlimited rounds, all formats, the apps, the TV board, stats, history, and messaging.
Yes. Add a sponsor with a logo, a short tagline, and an offer (for example "10% off a sleeve of Pro V1s," with an optional redemption code). It rotates on the clubhouse TV board and appears on players' post-round recap cards, and you can set a specific headline sponsor for a given round. Impressions and shares are counted so you can show a sponsor it's working. It's branding only — the app doesn't process any sponsor payments.
There's a migration tool for bringing in legacy round and member data. If you have an export from an older system, it can be mapped in so your members keep their stats and standings.
Tell us about your group — how many members and what you run today — and we'll get your club set up.
